Computerized Axial Tomography

A CAT Scan, also known as a CT Scan, is non invasive and uses special x-ray equipment and computers to produce cross-sectional images of the area being scanned, sometimes using contrast material to produce multiple images of the body's interior. Reveals more details than x-rays.
